Ken Levenson Architect, P.C. is a full service architectural firm committed to the complete process of design and construction. With an emphasis on building renovation and new building construction, we work intimately with our clients to achieve balance of design, comfort, heath and energy efficiency - toward clear project budget and schedule targets.

To better achieve our holistic goals, Ken Levenson Architect, P.C. utilizes the Passive House methodology. Passive House is a rigorous voluntary energy standard that results in dramatic energy savings while simultaneously providing superior thermal comfort, indoor air quality and structural longevity at an affordable cost.

Ken LevensonKen Levenson is a founding director of NY Passive House, a local non-profit dedicated to promoting the Passive House standard in the New York region and is currently training to become a Passive House certified consultant.

Ken Levenson Architect, P.C. is also a member of theU.S. Green Building Council, the International Passive House Association, and an Adopter of the Architecture 2030 Challenge.. The Challenge seeks to radically increase the energy efficiency of the buildings we design and encourage ongoing general education regarding building energy efficiency issues.

Becoming alarmed by our unfolding climate crisis, Ken built Checklist Toward Zero Carbon at the start of 2008 - a website to help everyone do what they can to reduce their carbon footprint comprehensively.

Ken Levenson, an architect with more than 20 years experience received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in 1989. He is licensed in New York State and is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
